The Director of the Emergency Management Department is responsible for developing, administering, and maintaining emergency response procedures for the duration and aftermath of disasters within the county.  The Director coordinates and maintains the intake and disbursment of  the Homeland Security Grant monies received by Jasper County from the Indiana Department of Homeland Security.  The Director controls and accounts to the state the expenditure of these monies on authorized equipment to gain County security.
