Welcome

Welcome to Jasper County, Indiana. 

Located in the northwest corner of the state, Jasper County was established in 1838 and (as of 2010) is home to over 33,000 people. The county seat, Rensselaer, is the home of Saint Joseph's College.

Our goal is to enhance citizen awareness of the services and programs that the County has to offer and increase public involvement and appreciation for Jasper County government.

2024 recgognition award for Tori Nuest and Kurt Jones

During the Animal Control Board meeting on April 8th, Tori Nuest, Animal Control Director and her staff all were recognized for some recent call outs for their dedication and quick response during some recent traumatic experiences for a few animals. Also recognized for his dedication was Indiana State Trooper Kurt Jones. Commissioner Jeff DeYoung District 2 attended the meeting and presented these awards.
